Ja'Lyn, I want you to know that your boywife Ethan is thinking about you on this very special occasion.

I know the days have been getting stressful as of late, but together we have persevered and the EJ powerhouse remains intact!

I will never forget how we met. It felt like I had better odds of winning the lottery than meeting someone like you.

I am so grateful I stepped away from a hobby that held me back from doing lots of things. It was one person out of the fifty that told me I should check out the party at Otaku Lounge. There was a much more formal party I would've attended with the Tetris group had I not heard of this place.

When I walked into the lounge, I was stressed and overwhelmed juggling the logistics of so many people staying with me. I had never really been to that kind of place before, so I certainly felt like a fish out of water. I walked past you and noticed your Shadow costume. I thought you were really cute, yet out of my league.

I was right to think this too, because after I got to meet you formally, you told me you worked for Epic Games and really made me idolize you. I still idolize you to this very day. I was starstruck when we began putting together how much we had in common.

I recall really wanting to touch your hair. I wanted to hug you and touch you because I couldn't believe you were real. You gave a new definition to love at first sight, infatuation, and attachment. I wish that night lasted an entire month because the Ja'Lyn withdrawals began immediately the next day.

We had made plans to play Unreal Tournament. I told EVERYONE about it. I was determined to find you. I looked all over. Then I called you on Instagram of all things. I was so happy to see you. You were so intensely focused on finding the Bomberman Hero game. It was adorable.
